TAILGATE, LADIES' HAT and "TOP CHAP" CONTESTS
We hold contests for best tailgate, best ladies' hat and the "Top Chap" award at our annual polo cup match, held this year on September 9th.

The 2024 best tailgate was won by "Morocco", who won a certificate for dinner for two at the Hunt Club. Best ladies hat was won by Virginia Ferrari, with the same generous prize.

The "Top Chap"  winner needed to be the most elegantly dressed gentleman  during the divot stomp and won a gift certificate  from "Topshop" of Hartford. It was won for 2024, in ineffable style, by Rudy Saunders.

Free bubbly from the center of the field was available at half time - if you divot stomped. The champagne was Veuve Cliquot and generously donated by 116 Crown of New Haven. Given only to adults of legal drinking age, of course. Cheers!
