TAILGATE, LADIES' HAT and "TOP CHAP" CONTESTS
We hold contests for best tailgate, best ladies' hat and the "Top Chap" award at our annual polo cup match, held this year on September 6th.
The 2025 best tailgate was won by Flavia Callari for "An English Afternoon Tea", who won a certificate for "dinner for two" at the Hunt Club.

The Best ladies hat competition had eight finalists, as follows, in alphabetical order: Valentina Bank, Christine Haranden, Renee Van Heerden, Lowri Langdon, Anne Lawton, Deborah Murtaugh, Flyn Murtaugh and Olivia Packenham. The prize of "dinner for two" at the Hunt Club was won by Lowri Landon with a splendid hat sporting pheasants' feathers.

The "Top Chap" winner needed to be the most stylishly dressed gentleman during the divot stomp. It was won for 2025 (as it had been in 2024!), in ineffable style, by Rudy Saunders.
Free bubbly from the center of the field was available at half time - if you divot stomped. Given only to adults of legal drinking age, of course. Cheers!
Note! The 2026 polo match will be held on Saturday, September 12th, at the Hunt Club
